COMPANY HISTORY
|
Elite Group, Inc. is a diversified corporation established in
1994. The Company initially owned and operated two nationally
recognized Shell gas stations about 7 years from its inception.
The Founder of Elite Group, Inc., Mr. John Zyung personally
operated these gas stations for two years before transferring
the entire assets to Elite Group, Inc.
As a part of the operation, the Company also sold cigarettes in
its convenience store within the gas station. During those
years, the Company’s assets increased by ten-folds.
To recognize its tremendous success, the Shell Oil Company
presented the Company with a commendation for its dedication to
customer service, excellence in operation and unprecedented
sales growth. The Company sold its gas station business in 2001.
Using its success in retail petroleum and tobacco products as a
stepping-stone, the Company applied for and received a permit to
import tobacco products from overseas in 2005 from the US
Department of the Treasury. This event led to the Company’s
successful bid for the exclusive right to import cigarettes from
Woori Tobacco Corporation, a leading premium cigarette
manufacturer in Republic of Korea.
For the beginning of 2008, the Company plans to import premium
cigarettes from Woori and introduce them to wholesalers and
distributors who are looking to provide their customers with
imported premium cigarettes at competitive pricing.
